Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in La Vista, Nebraska, wished to plant a new church community in the northwest part of Omaha on a new campus. A small community blossomed in the area, but lacked a permanent home. After years in temporary locations, it is time for the new church to take root. The Rooted in Faith campaign raised funds to construct a new, permanent home for the new campus of Beautiful Savior. In addition, campaign funds would help nourish the La Vista campus through updates and maintenance. And, finally, a portion of the funds would go towards building a Lutheran school in Cambodia. A campaign planning study found strong support for these goals and the Beautiful Savior community more than delivered, raising more than $1.5 million.
